About the Summer School
The Italian Film Summer School Veneto, titled “The Life in Walled Cities”, is an international academic and creative program dedicated to film and media students from China and abroad. The initiative is organized in collaboration with the Region of Veneto and the Association of Walled Cities of Veneto, with their support including local logistics, accommodation, and transport for all participating Chinese students.
The program offers a unique educational and cultural experience focused on documentary filmmaking and VR promotional video production. Students are guided through every stage of the creative process, from concept development and shooting to post-production, while exploring the architectural heritage, daily life, and stories of Italy’s historic walled cities.

意大利威尼托电影暑期学院（Italian Film Summer School Veneto），主题为“城墙之内的生命”（The Life in Walled Cities），是一项面向中国及海外影视与传媒专业学生的国际学术与创意项目。该项目由威尼托大区政府与威尼托城墙城市联盟协会联合举办，为所有来自中国的学生提供在意大利的住宿、交通与后勤支持。
课程为学生提供一次独特的教育与文化体验，重点围绕纪录片创作与虚拟现实（VR）宣传视频制作展开。学生将在整个创作过程中得到专业指导，从选题策划与拍摄到后期制作，同时深入探索意大利历史城墙城市的建筑遗产、日常生活与人文故事。
Participants come from leading universities including the Communication University of China (Faculty of International Media), Xiamen University of Technology, Zhongyuan University of Technology, Shandong University, New York Institute of Technology Beijing, Nottingham Trent University (UK), China Agricultural University, University of Colorado Denver (US), Shanghai Publishing and Printing College, and Northwest University Xi’an.
The Summer School fosters cross-cultural collaboration, creativity, and hands-on learning, bringing together students, professors, and professionals to rediscover cultural heritage through the lens of new media and immersive storytelling.
参与学生来自多所知名高校，包括中国传媒大学（国际传媒学院）、厦门理工学院、中原工学院、山东大学、纽约理工大学北京校区、英国诺丁汉特伦特大学、中国农业大学、美国科罗拉多大学丹佛分校、上海出版印刷高等专科学校以及西北大学（西安）。
该暑期学院致力于促进跨文化交流、创意思维与实践学习，汇聚来自不同背景的学生、教授与专业人士，通过新媒体与沉浸式叙事的视角重新发现文化遗产之美。
